Cool temperatures may cause your honey to thicken or crystallize, this is totally normal and there is no problem with your honey, it can easily be made crystal clear again by warming it up. Warming can be accomplished by placing in hot water (max of 110 degrees F) for approximately 2-4 hours and/or in direct sunlight on days when it's at least 80+ degrees outside. Do not warm in a microwave or under direct flame (if it's too hot you can burn the honey). For smaller amounts of honey (1 lb jars), place in a crock pot with water on the lowest heat setting for 2-4 hours and the honey will become clear.
All Live Bees are are for Local Pickup Only, they cannot be shipped.
Orders for 2024 can be selected for pickup on May 4th, May 18th or June 1st. These dates are subject to change, based on the spring temperatures.
Customers will be emailed in advance (No later than 2 weeks for selected dates) to start coordinating the exact pickup date and time.
